There’s Only One Jimmy Grimble

Bullied at school Jimmy Grimble seems destined for the substitutes' bench. However, when an old woman gives him a pair of football boots that formerly belonged to an old Man City player his fortunes begin to improve and he manages to gain the confidence to succeed and lead his school football team towards the final of the local cup.

Winner of a Berlin Bear, Golden Gryphon at Giffoni, Best Feature at Posnan and Jury Awards at Malmo

and The European Film Festival.

This is a film that defies normal critical criteria and ends up an unexpected delight.
